Workspace administration
People, roles and access
Manage access deliberately and test it from the user’s perspective.

Review your workspace’s people
Administrators can use People to review users, invitations and assigned roles. The interface distinguishes Admin, Member and Viewer roles, and active, inactive and invited states.
Assign only the access needed for each person’s work. Do not assume someone can administer sources because they can ask questions.
The default backend roles allow Admin, Member and Viewer to read permitted documents, ask questions and view reports. Members can also upload documents and create deals. Administration, document deletion, source-access management and integration management require additional permissions; custom permissions may extend a user’s default role.
Review access to knowledge
Connector configuration can include permitted roles and external groups. Review these alongside the permissions and scope of the provider account.
Test membership or source-access changes with a representative user. An administrator’s ability to see a source does not establish another user’s access.
Make reviews routine
Review Vera access when people join, change roles or leave. Check both workspace membership and source-system permissions.
If sensitive information appears available to the wrong person, stop sharing the answer and contact your administrator. Provide the minimum detail needed to investigate.
